Experience the Magic

Teaching Children to Care

At Mary Elizabeth Farm School, we prioritize caring for ourselves, others, animals, and the land. We create a family atmosphere through chores, hiking, gardening, building, sledding, potlucks, swimming, and play. Our approach focuses on each child’s interests, strengths, and emotional needs using field trips, sing-alongs, hikes, and a warm, inviting classroom with cozy spaces.

We teach friendship, health, responsibility, generosity, and love, emphasizing self-discovery and belonging as vital. Each day, children learn to share, take turns, invite others, resolve conflicts, and build friendships. We empower kids to be independent by observing and providing suitable materials.

Our respectful classroom encourages listening, peaceful conflict resolution, and empathy toward people and nature.
